Alan Hunter’s photographic mission began in the early eighties in his native northeast. A student at the Spectro Arts facility and Newcastle Media Workshop, in Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, he fine tuned traditional black and white zone system techniques, gradually evolving into one of today's leading monochrome artists.
